Princess Charm School was created by Lisa Delmedico Harris in 2005. Since then she has had the opportunity to share the message of true beauty, poise, and righteousness from a biblical view with hundreds of girls and women of all ages. Princess Charm School offers a Godly approach to beauty, poise, and righteousness and teaches the importance of being an example of Christ in all areas of life--action, words, appearance, behavior, and attitude. "If we were all to take etiquette lessons from the Word of God, we would learn more about the importance of having good manners and good posture and more about walking in the perfect ways of God." Lisa explains. In a society where selfishness and rudness are on the rampage and etiquette and social graces have almost become obsolete, gives Princess Charm School the opportunity to become a nowtime message. Although etiquette hasn't changed it has become lost.
There has never been a time in our world when there has ever been so many young people. Princess Charm School directs its attention to this generation by offreing programs for girls 7-17. But although most of its workshops are geared for a younger audience, Princess Charm School also offers workshops, conferences, mother/daughter teas, retreats and other events that speak to the adult women. "As a mother of three, I place my responsiblility of motherhood on a very high esteem. I know that one day I will be held accountable for the way I have taken care of my children and the things I have taught them. To many children are being neglected and put on the back burner of life left to fend for themselves. Many are not taught simple life skills and do not know how to treat others with respect and decency. They look to the media and to role models to give them answers and direction on how to live their life. But these media influences are not always good, in fact, most of them can be detrimental to a child's development and outlook on life." Lisa says.
Princess Charm School values and honors the opportunity to teach others about the importance of living a life of Godly charater and conduct. Princess Charm School is dedicated to sharing the message of Christ Jesus in order to help those in need find a path of hope and direction. "As adult figures we are to take our life and live it in a way that it can be used as a living example for others to follow and admire. But we can't be all the adult example we need to be without first dedicating our life and works to Christ Jesus." Lisa explains. That is why Princess Charm School is passionate about its mission to help others recognize their hidden potential and to become all they have been created to be.
Princess Charm School is not only a ministry but also a book written by Lisa Delmedico Harris. Princess Charm School: A Godly Approach to Beauty, Poise, and Righteousness was released with the help of Tate Publishing and Enterprises in 2008. This self-help book is written for girls twelve years and up. It offers sound advice on beauty, posture, grooming, confidence, relationships, and more and combines scripture making it a tool based on solid fountation. In the fall of 2010, Lisa released her next book called The Official Princess Handbook: A Little Girls Guide to Beauty, Poise, and Righteousness. With the help of Harrison House, this adorable little pink book tells the story of Isabella, a rude and messy little princess who needs to learn to be neater and nicer. Along the way she learns about the story of Esther and attends Princess Charm School which together help Isabella understand the importance of how manner's really do matter.
