Poise can be defined by how one carries themselve. It is the act in which a person walks, sits, stands, talks, and treats others.
Poise is not walking around with a book on top of your head to see how far you can go before it drops, poise is a way of life
it is a manner of living. God lets us know in His word that we are to walk as Christ walked.
He who says he abides in Him ought
himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:6, NKJV
Perfect poise comes from knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and having the
confidence to walk as He walked. It takes good posture to walk upright and a positive self-image to carry it out.
If you don't have a clear image of who you are then you will stumble in your walk and slouch in your posture. If
you are a born again child of God then you have been given the righteousness of Him that makes you the righteousness
of God in Christ Jesus.
For He [God] made Him [Jesus] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness
of God in Him [Jesus]. 2 Corinthians 5:21, NKJV
You are special, unique and have been created in the image of God. (Gen. 1:27) You have
been made royalty through Christ Jesus. (1 Peter 2:9) Walking in the poise of God is walking in His perfect
love. You can be graceful and full of poise through Him and by Him. Walk as Jesus walked.
