In a world where beauty is only found on the surface, young girls have have been caught in the trap of the lies of the devil.  The media has impressed in their minds that beauty is how one looks and appears to be on the outside.  But the word of God tells us differently.  1 Samuel says, For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearnace, but the Lord looks at the heart."

True beauty comes from the heart and within the heart of a person lies the intermost secrets of the beauty they posses.  People look at the appearance of a person and judge them by what they see, God looks at the heart.  If you don't believe that beauty is a heart condition than think again. 1 Peter 3:3,4 tells us, "Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel--rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Do you value your outward apperance more than you value the appearance of your heart?  Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised, Proverbs 30:31.  Your outward appearance is passing and will one day fade away. Don't put your trust and value solely on your outward appearance but rather focus on the hidden beauty of your heart.  A heart filled with Jesus will live and last forever. Live, laugh, and be beautiful in Christ.
