Lisa Delmedico Harris is an Oklahoma native with her roots deep into the country. Raised on a cattle ranch in a small rural town, Lisa had big dreams of one day making a difference in the lives of others. Interested in the modeling and fashion industries, she attended Bauder Fashion College where she later graduated with a Fashion Merchandising degree. While in college, Lisa met a special lady who took interest in her and gave her an opportunity to work as her personal assistant. From this opportunity, Lisa learned about charm school for the first time. After three years learning about charm school and seeing how it impacted the lives of people, she decided that one day she would do the same.
Now, almost twenty years later, the dream of one day helping inspire others has come to pass. Princess Charm School was established in 2007 and since then has made great strides in its abilities to help others. The book Princess Charm School/A Godly Approach to Beauty, Poise, and Righteousness was released in June of 2009 by Tate Publishing and Enterprises. This unique book gives its readers the chance to explore beauty, poise, and righteousness through the Word of God. "If we were all to take etiquette lessons from the bible, we would know more about the importance of having good manners and good posture and more about walking in the perfect ways of God." Lisa explains.
With the help of Harrison House, Lisa will soon release her second book entitled The Official Princess Handbook in October 2010. This book is designed for girls 6-9 and gives young readers the story of Esther interwined with the character of Isabella. Isabella is a little princess who needs to learn her manners and how to be a lady. It is a journey any young reader will enjoy while teaching them the importance of godly character and conduct. Princess Charm School will also be offering an 8-week study on beauty, poise, and righteousness, a princess devotional, and a princess board game.
Not only is Lisa a published author but also a motivational speaker, wife, and mother. She is married to Dusty Harris, and together they have three beautiful children--Sarah, Raychel, and Wade. Some of her accomplishments include: Mrs. Ok Globe 2005, Mrs. Ok America Muskogee County 2008, Miss Ft. Gibson Teen USA 1986, Miss Ok North American Teen 1988, Miss Sooner State in 1985, a $15K smile makeover from Mrs. Globe, FFA State Farmer Degree, Most Petite Model award from Bauder Fashion College, and numerous other awards.
Lisa has more than twenty-five years of expereince in the fashion, modeling, and pageantry industries. She has been teaching etiquette, personal development skills, and coaching girls for the past several years.
